Economy is a kind of day-after forecast. At least, this is the strong feeling given to me by the Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman through the pages of this book. And successful economists are those that win in the gambling game of forecasting global economic trends whose outcome no scientific algorhythm could foretell.

A reading that can definitely mitigate feelings of personal ineptitude.

Memory as the killer application of the corporate marketing?
It may be.

What struck me is the potential hidden in the number of notes, leaflets, drafts we ail lose behind us and hide in our trash bins. One must be a genius to discover the value of the corporate historical trash and to let it work at the building of the brand identity. It seems that such geniuses exist (mainly in Italy) and have the skill to sell brands based on the force of their image even more than on the intrinsic qualities of the industrial product.
Heritage museums are therefore flourishing, see the cases of Ducati, Alessi, Borsalino, both with the aim of reinforcing the brand and of keeping at hand an organized wealth of design and studies to be further implemented.
